Aristocratic Angelfish
oil on handmade wood panel
The Queen Angelfish is similar to other Angelfish except for the dark blue/black spot that "crowns" their heads. They are omnivores and eat a wide variety of food. Juveniles serve as "cleaners" and feed on the parasites on the larger fish. They are generally seen solo or in pairs, possibly monogamous mates.
